Travel&What to do
We are recommending our guests stay in the beach side town of Sitges, a 30 minute train ride South from Barcelona. A destination of its own, Sitges is 30 minutes to our venue, closer than Barcelona, and rich with activities and places to stay.
SITGES
How to get there
We encourage those staying in Sitges at the locations recommended below to utilize public transportation in lieu of renting a car. Much of Sitges sants is walkable and cordoned off from vehicles, unless the hotel or airbnb you are staying at otherwise says so.
Traveling to/from Barcelona City Center:
Sitges is easily reached by train from central Barcelona. You can board at Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona Sants, or Estació de França, with Passeig de Gràcia generally being the calmest and least crowded option.
Look for the R2 Sud / C2 line heading toward Vilanova i la Geltrú or Sant Vicenç de Calders, as Sitges is one of the stops along this route. Trains run approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day, and the journey takes about 30 minutes from Barcelona Sants, 37 minutes from Passeig de Gràcia, or 46 minutes from Estació de França.
Tickets can be purchased from the machines or ticket desks at the station and cost under €10 for a single journey. You can check timetables at renfe.es. Return trips are made from the Sitges train station.
Traveling to/from Barcelona International Airport:
There are coaches that run directly from Barcelona Airport to Sitges and cost under €10 for a single journey. Tickets are purchased onboard and we recommend having cash, although they can also be purchased with card.
The Bus Garraf coach runs from outside Terminal 1 of Barcelona airport. If you arrive at Terminal 2 (T2), you will need to catch the free airport bus which takes you to T1 (between 10 and 15 minutes). The bus stop for the T2 to T1 line can be found underneath the bridge, outside T2B.
Bus Garaff busses arrive regularly, averaging about 30 minute between each other but for more details including specific schedules and routes visit the Bus Garaff website. For those staying in proximity to the Sitges train station, we recommend to utilize "Can Robert" as your stop in Sitges, however there are 4 available stops throughout the town.
Other modes of travel:
Taxis can be used to travel from Barcelona or other locations, but will cost an average of €100-€120. If you do opt to stay outside of Sitges, in the Penedès wine region, we do recommend renting a vehicle as this is more remote to access and taxis run limited hours in the smaller towns of the countryside.
SITGES
Where to stay
We do NOT have hotel blocks as this is not common in Spain. However for those interested in a hotel stay, we have listed some recommendations below, and included additional options in our, also linked below. For those using airbnb to book their stay, we recommend remaining in the "Sants" area of Sitges, in proximity to the main points of transportation (Sitges train station & Bus Garaff Can Robert stop), for easier shuttle access & pickup.
A 4-Star hotel not far off of the Sants area. 10 minutes walk to the train station. This will be A pickup spot for the shuttle.
A 3-Star hotel in the heart of old town Sants. 4 minute walk to the train station.
A 4-Star hotel ideal for those with a vehicle 20 minutes walk to the train station, but with a dedicated local bus stop in front.
while furthest from the train, the terramar is for those looking for a 5-Star beach front experience. Parking is available.

SITGES
How to get around
In Sitges the main mode of transportation is by foot! There's plenty to see and do around town and most of everything is under a 30 minute walk. If you feel comfortable with some basic conversational Spanish, we recommend the bus system as a great way to get around locally. And of course, taxis are also always available. While ubers may be harder to come by, the local taxi company is a phone call away.
